The Community and Salon Grafix

Salon Grafix and the Environment

Environmental awareness is an important issue for everyone involved in the development, manufacture and shipping of Salon Grafix products. We realize that everyone must do their part to keep our environment clean and healthy, not only for ourselves, but for future generations.

Our aerosol hair sprays do not use CFCs and have been specially formulated to meet the low VOC level requirements first instituted by the California Air Resources Board and now accepted as law in many other states, helping to maintain air quality and reduce ozone depletion. Components used in the manufacture of our products are recyclable whenever possible. Excess components such as plastic materials and corrugated cardboard are sent to recycling facilities on a regular basis, rather than thrown out to be placed in another landfill. In addition, none of the products in the Salon Grafix hair care line are tested on animals in any stage of the production process.

Salon Grafix and Charitable Causes

We realize that our core base of customers are women and believe that we should do anything that we can to help support women’s causes. For the second year, Salon Grafix will be helping to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer as we sponsor The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Race for the Cure in Detroit, Michigan. The National Cancer Institute estimates that based on current rates, 13.2 percent of women born today in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some time in their lives. Please join us in the fight by donating to the cause or participating in a race in your own area. Regular monetary donations are also made to the following charities: The Salvation Army, The American Cancer Society, The Arthritis Foundation, The Multiple Sclerosis Association, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and countless other causes, including donations made by shipping product to various battered women’s shelters.
